– Kohti kestävää tulevaisuutta.
Transformation is an exhibition at the Museum of Finnish Architecture focusing on sustainable approaches to architecture and building design. The display highlights an array of environmental approaches, explored from ecological, social and cultural perspectives. Pure Design’s exhibition architecture responds to this theme with a thoroughly sustainable design. Displays were made from recyclable re-board (a patented rigid sustainable paperboard) material, locally harvested pine and constructed using the “house of cards” technique – without screws, nails or adhesives.
The exhibition’s Hiillos (Coals) sculpture was created by Nora Tapper based on a concept by Tapper, Pekka Hänninen and Yrjö Suonto.
