MOUTH LIKE A SEVEN-BREAD OVEN – Vantaa Art Museum’s exhibition 8th October 2010 – 26th February 2011
Vantaa Art Museum’s exhibition deploys the means provided by contemporary art to handle themes related to bread. On exhibit are works of art by Adel Abidin, Pasi Eerik Karjula, Pentti Kaskipuro, Hilda Kozári and Riitta Päiväläinen. In particular, the exhibition is a tribute to graphic artist and professor Pentti Kaskipuro.
The exhibition architecture was inspired by the masterful use of light and shadow in Mr. Kaskipuro’s graphic works. In the large installation wall his sensitive drawing technique becomes clearly visible.
