Transformation – Towards a Sustainable Future

Exhibition at Museum of Finnish Architecture, Helsinki 2.10.2013 – 2.2.2014.

Transformation takes a look at the many aspects of sustainability from the point of view of architecture and urban planning by presenting a selection of 52 projects from around the world. The projects have been divided into five categories: global, cultural, urban, community or neighborhood related, and that of individual buildings.

The exhibition architecture is designed by Pure Design. Sustainability is also reflected in the implementation of the exhibition. The exhibition structures have been made without any screws, nails or adhesives. The materials used in exhibition stands are Finnish pine and recyclable Re-board.

In the middle of the room eye focuses to a work called Embers by Nora Tapper.
