Vantaa Art Museum’s first major exhibition in 2010 consists of works of photography and video art – never before seen in Finland but exhibited by several international art museums. The artists of the exhibition are Danica Dakić (born in 1966 in Sarajevo, lives in Düsseldorf and Sarajevo), Loretta Lux (born in 1969 in Dresden, lives in Monaco), and Anu Pennanen (born in 1975 in Kirkkonummi, lives in Berlin and Paris). The exhibition is dedicated to these artists’ strategies within created processes and works that induce the viewers to analyze the relationships between presentation, representation, and methods of presenting. The main characters in the works are children and the young.
