The first main exhibition in the Vantaa Art Museum in 2010 presented works of photographic and video art previously unseen in Finland. However, the works of Danica Dakić, Loretta Lux and Anu Pennanen – that focus on children and youth – have been exhibited in several international art museums around the world. The minimalistic exhibition architecture and powerful colours highlighted the art on display.
