The Tailwind exhibition, organised in 2010 at the Laituri Exhibition Room of the Helsinki City Planning Department, opened a view to the future of Helsinki in 2030. The exhibition presented Helsinki’s most significant waterfront projects: the transformation of the harbours into housing areas in Länsisatama, Kalasatama and Kruunuvuorenranta.
The exhibition was set in a real shipping container retrofitted with a wooden patio and sails suspended from a ten-metre-high wooden mast. After the Tailwind exhibition in Helsinki it has travelled to London, Oslo, Cannes, Berlin and Tallinn.
