A tribute to graphic artist and professor Pentti Kaskipuro, the Vantaa Art Museum’s 2010 exhibition, Mouth Like a Seven-Bread Oven featured contemporary art focused on bread. On display were works by Adel Abidin, Pasi Eerik Karjula, Pentti Kaskipuro, Hilda Kozári and Riitta Päiväläinen.
The exhibition architecture was inspired by the masterful use of light and shadow in Mr. Kaskipuro’s graphic works. The highlight was a large installation wall that demonstrated his sensitive drawing technique and sometimes surreal world-view.
