In spring 2013 new exhibition furniture and an information desk area were created for the united Helsinki City Planning Department in the Laituri Exhibition Room.
The Wide Oregon pine information desk with specially designed LED lighting on top welcomes visitors inside the city planning department’s meeting space. The information desk was designed to be accessible for the visitor and fluent to use for the employees.
Dark coloured exhibition walls work as a background for various exhibition contents and are modifiable in two heights and different configurations. From the self-work stations visitor can get information on their own and variable exhibitions provides information about what is happening at the moment in Helsinki city planning.
